Aims & Scope
This special issue is aimed at addressing the unprecedented scenario determined worldwide by the Covid-19 outbreak in terms of distance learning. From primary schools to high-level education, distance-learning platforms have been used intensively as never before: students and teachers have started to experience for the first time how distance learning could replace frontal lessons completely, while it was used so far as either a complementary didactic activity or a solution designed for specific contexts only. Contributions from teachers and researchers, from both the educational and the IT areas, dealing with performed experiences, proposed innovative approaches and evaluated novel distance-learning-based didactic methodologies are encouraged.
