Mavromoustakis is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. He received a five-year dipl.Eng (BSc/BEng/MEng) in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Technical University of Crete, Greece, MSc in Telecommunications from University College of London, UK, and his PhD from the department of Informatics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Dr. Mavromoustakis is leading the Mobile Systems Lab. (MOSys Lab., http://www.mosys.unic.ac.cy/) at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Nicosia, dealing with design and implementation of hybrid wireless testbed environments, high performance cloud and mobile cloud computing (MCC) systems, modeling and simulation of mobile computing environments and protocol development and deployment for large-scale heterogeneous networks as well as new ‘green’ mobility-based protocols. Dr. Mavromoustakis has participated in many EU funded projects and regional ones. Dr. Mavromoustakis has extensive experience in simulation of wireless systems, MP2P and Opportunistic Systems, Mobile Computing and Web technologies. Dr. Mavromoustakis is an elected active member (Officer/Secretary) of IEEE/ R8 regional Cyprus section since Feb. 2014, and since May 2009 he serves as the Chair of C16 Computer Society Chapter of the Cyprus IEEE section. Dr. Mavromoustakis has a dense research work outcome in Distributed Systems and spatio-temporal scheduling applied in Mobile and Wireless Systems, consisting of numerous refereed publications. He is a management member of IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Radio Communications Committee (RCC) and served as track Chair and co-Chair of various IEEE International Conferences (including IEEE ICC, IEEE Globecom, IEEE AINA, IEEE IWCMC, IEEE Internet of Things, ACM MSWiM etc). He is also serving as a PhD Co-supervisor (external) at Computer Sciences Department, University Ferhat Abbas Setif 1, Algeria. He received PhD degree in Computer Engineering in 2009 from Kyung Hee University, South Korea and B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh in 2003. In his academic career so far, he worked as a faculty member in various capacities in various institutions like at the CSE Department of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) during 2020-2021, Southeast University, Bangladesh during 2015-2020, Computer Science department, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Malaysia during 2010-2015; at BRACU, Bangladesh during 2009-2010, and at NSU, Bangladesh during 2004-2005. Nguyen received his B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Hanoi University of Communication and Transport, Hanoi, Vietnam in 2001, Military Technical Academy, Hanoi, Vietnam in 2007, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, USA, in 2015, respectively. Dr. Minh Nguyen is currently the director of International training and Cooperation center at Thai Nguyen University of Technology, Vietnam, and also the director of Advanced Wireless Communication Networks (AWCN) Lab. He has interest and expertise in a variety of research topics in the communications, networking, and signal processing areas, especially compressed sensing, and wireless/mobile sensor networks. He serves as technical reviewers for several prestigious journals and international conferences. He also serves as Editor for Wireless Communication and Mobile Computing journal, Associated Editor for ICSES Transactions on Computer Networks and Communications, and Editor for EAI Transactions on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems.

His research interests include the future Internet architectures, the modeling and analysis of networked systems, and network measurement for protocol evaluation. Aims & Scope

EAI Endorsed Transactions on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems is open access, a peer-reviewed scholarly journal focused on ubiquitous computing, cloud computing, and cyber-physical system, all kinds of networks in large-scale factories, including a lot of traditional and new industries. The journal, which is jointly sponsored and co-organized by Duy Tan University (Vietnam), publishes research articles, review articles, commentaries, editorials, technical articles, and short communications with a quarterly frequency (four issues per year). Authors are not charged for article submission and processing.

  • Applications of wireless sensor networks, body area networks in large-scale industrial applications, such as fault theories of wireless networks, including routing, network control and management, reliable transmission and architectures, etc.
