Aims & Scope

There is an increased awareness of multisensorial issues in Human-Computer Interaction and user experience design, particularly involving sound and image. In parallel, media artists have been addressing these issues in their practice, often research-oriented, combining art and technology. The Special Issue on Creative Technologies: Audio-Visuals and Interaction Design aims to address these emerging issues in research related to the creation of interactive sonic experiences, particularly focusing on the role that image plays in these scenarios.
