  • Rajesh Arora (Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon-122413, India)+ BioDr. Rajesh Arora is working as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Amity University Haryana, Gurgaon. He received his doctorate degree in the field of Thermal Engineering from YMCA University of Science & Technology, Faridabad and Masters in Energy and Environment Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His areas of expertise are energy management, sustainable energy, energy and exergy analysis of thermal systems, solar photovoltaics, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics, multi-objective optimization and decision making. He has made significant contributions in these fields as evident by his above 35 SCI/Scopus Indexed research publications in Journals of repute at National and International levels. He is an active member of various international scientific organizations and societies, and serves as reviewer for International Journal of Energy Research by Wiley; Energy by Elsevier; Energy Conversion & Management by Elsevier; Energy Systems by Springer; Energy Reports by Elsevier. He is a recipient of best paper awards in two International Conferences. He has actively been working in the areas of sustainable energy technologies, and his group has developed various novel technologies pertaining to energy efficient and environmental friendly smart systems.
  • Prateek Agrawal (Lovely Professional University, Phagwara | University of Klagenfurt, Austria)+ BioPrateek Agrawal completed his B.Tech and M.Tech in computer science engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India and ABV-IIITM, India respectively. He received his Ph.D from IKG-Punjab Technical University, India. He is having more than 10 years of research and teaching experience. He is currently working as post-doctoral researcher at department of ITEC, University of Klagenfurt, Austria and also serves as associate professor in school of computer science engineering, Lovely Professional University, India. He authored more than 50 research papers in various peer reviewed journals and conferences. He is life member of IET. He is reviewer and editorial member of many journals of high repute. He also served as technical program committee member of many international conferences. His major research areas are Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Scheduling, Parallel Processing and Big data etc.
  • Akshat Agrawal (Amity University Gurgaon)+ BioAkshat Agrawal is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Scince & Engineering, Amity University Haryana . He received his Bachelor in Computer Science & Engineering from UPTU , Masters from USICT, GGSIPU and currently pursuing Doctorate from GGSIPU , Delhi. He has a total of 10 years of teaching & research experience. His major research interest is Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning & Machine Learning, Sustainable development technologies, Speech processing, and Image processing. He received best project award in his bachelor degree. He has published more than 15 research papers in Web of science/Scopus indexed and reputed refereed international journals.. He has guided 12 M.Tech thesis and 30 B.Tech projects. He has been visiting faculty at Technical University Kosice, Slovakia in June 2019. He was part of (ERASMUS+CABCIN) Project and visted University of Nova , Lisbon in March 2019. As on date he has 02 patent . He also recived 01 best paper award in AIST 2019 held at Delhi. He is Techical Program Committee member of various reputed International conferences such as ICCSA2019, ICRTIB 2019,ICCSA 2019,ICCIN 2020,SUSCOM 2020. He is also reviewer of 02 reputed international journals .

This special issue will have a strong focus on state-of-the-art developments and sustainable technological solutions for next-generation intelligent buildings in smart cities. It will emphasize the cutting-edge technological developments in the field of energy and buildings; smart grids and advance sustainable buildings; smart surveillance system for buildings using IoT; big data and analytics applications for energy-efficient smart buildings; Green sustainable construction practices; HVAC; efficient sensor network; smart instrumentation for design approaches and application framework for smart buildings in view of providing a safe and healthy environment for the new era.
